On February 14, 1969
Chairman Mao Zedong instructed in a report at Factory 6848: To build another nuclear submarine factory in the middle of the Yangtze River.
In November 1969
Groundbreaking began. In commemoration of Chairman Mao Zedong's "214" directive, the company code was "6214".
In 1974
The first 1942KW bow push ship began construction, with a batch of 18 ships in this series.
In 1975
The construction of the first engineering soldier special pontoon bridge began.
In 1982
The first 635C type hydrographic survey ship, a military vessel, was completed and successfully delivered.
In 1984
The 6500 ton lift floating dock "Lushan" designed and manufactured by the factory was launched
In 1985
The 1500 seater catamaran was completed and delivered to the Shanghai Maritime Bureau for operation.
In 1993
The first 230TEU container vessel was completed, marking the first successful construction of an export ship by an inland shipyard. In the same year.The 16000 ton crude oil tanker has been completed and delivered to Nanjing Oil Transport Company for operation. This vessel is the largest tonnage vessel built for the first time by an inland shipyard.
In 1994
The first luxury tourist ship was completed and delivered to Changhang Chongqing Shipping Company for operation (a total of 7 vessels).
In 1997
The first 4800 ton multi-purpose vessel exported to Germany was completed and delivered to Bernard Schuter Shipping Company in Germany (a total of 6 ships).
In 2002
The first 670TEU container ship was completed and delivered to the German shipping company Klinberg (a total of 4 ships).
In 2004
The first 12000 ton multi-purpose vessel to be exported was completed and delivered to the German Phoenix Shipping Company.
In 2005
Jiangxi Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was established through restructuring and reorganization.
In 2008
The company became a listed company on the Hong Kong Main Board.
In 2009
The first export chemical & product oil vessel with a capacity of 16500 tons was delivered(A total of 15 vessels were delivered)
In 2011
The 14000 ton heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel "BBC AMBER" (JZ1045) was delivered to Bockstiegel ship services company.
In 2014
It was included in the first batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's list that met the requirements of the Shipbuilding Industry Standards.
In 2015
The provincial academician workstation was approved for construction, with welding expert Mr. Pan Jiluan as the chief scientist.
In 2017
12500 tons of heavy lift multi-purpose vessels were delivered to BBC Germany (a total of 2 vessels)
In March 2023
The world's largest and domestic first 10000 ton ocean communication overseas cable laying vessel, "Longyin 9," was launched by China Railway Jiuqiao Engineering Co., Ltd. as the general contractor for Shandong Hongzhou Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd.
On March 31, 2023
Jiangxi New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was established.
On september 1st
The factory buildings, land, and main production equipment of the original Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding Co., Ltd were fully taken over.
October 2023
First ship order of 3490 T stainless steel chemical tanker was signed.
November 2023
obtained the qualification of shipbuilding and repairing issued by Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
December 2023
Obtained four system certificates of quality, environment, energy and occupational health and safety issued by China Classification Society (CCS).

New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry held a ceremony for the production of a high-end ship project and the steel-cutting of a 3490 ton chemical & product oil ship. At the same time, we signed 2+2 units orders for 13800 ton duplex stainless steel chemical & product oil ships with Alita (Shanghai) International Shipping Co., Ltd. and 2+2 units orders for 8300 ton shallow draft river-sea intermodal international bulk carriers with Yangtze River Financial Holdings Co., Ltd.
